The AirWolf router is an extremely flexible high performance wireless Ethernet bridge/router/access point system which creates a transparent wireless link between locations. It is highly customizable in that the LANs may appear to be connected together as though through a hardwired Ethernet connection in many configurations.
The router supports multiple MAC addresses, DHCP, MESH routing and much, much more. You may even freely modify the firmware to your liking. The AirWolf comes fully configured as a bridge pair for true plug and play operation. No initial setup is necessary to create a working bridge connection between two Wireless or Wired LANs. 128Bit WEP security provides protection without the need for complicated setups. Full local or wireless remote configuration management is available through an HTML Web Interface for the authorized user to be able to change passwords, encryption keys, output power, IP Address or various other settings.
Use indoors or out. Typical applications include: Shared Internet Access, MESH Networking, Network Enabled Gaming (XBOX and others), Connecting a home office to a remote office, connecting the LANs between two or more commercial buildings, Remote Video and media servers, Voice Over IP (VOIP) Systems, Extending the range of a wireless network, etc.
The system includes everything that is needed to connect two wired or wireless LANs over a distance from 0 to 4 miles. Included in the AirWolf kit are (QTY 2) 802.11g AirWolf Routers with field replaceable weatherproof Ethernet connectors, (QTY 2) Universal Wall/Pole Mount Systems, (QTY 2) power supplies
