La Horquetta Node test

Finished installing the tower during the week of Trinidad Carnival and started testing this weekend.
Two routers were installed on the tower to see how it handled the load. Then came time to power up.
The Airwolf router's performance was excellent. The first site survey showed six or seven networks in range.
It was quite an achievement considering the tower hardly rises above the nearby trees, and the directional antennas were roughly aimed.
Some of the visible networks in range were:
asa wright
tacobel
NASA
TITAN
safetech1
MICATC

I'm sure some of those names are not authentic. Some are open and some are not, but we weren't looking for free internet so we didn't explore further.
We also were able to see the network in Malabar I mentioned previously, so it should be possible to make a permanent link.
Here are some pics.

When the node goes fully online the two routers will serve as a network node and local access point. A third router may be added later with an omnidirectional antenna on top.
