I wrote this on an old laptop I got for free and repaired which is now running Windows 7 x64 Beta 7000.
These are the specs.
AMD Turion 64 Processor
1 GB DDR RAM
80 GB Hard Drive
ATI Radeon Xpress 200m

The laptop runs like it was built for Windows 7 (It does have a Vista Compatible sticker)
This is what an OS upgrade is supposed to feel like.
I've been using it for a month now and it hasn't so much as hiccuped, even though I really tore into it with hacks and patches. All features are enabled and all drivers are installed.
I'm afraid to say it but this Microsoft's new OS could really kick Linux and Mac's butt unless Microsoft screws things up between now and the official release date of Windows 7.
